  • World Soccer Day Kick-Off Event

    Join the City of Richmond and the Richmond Olympic Oval on June 12th for the World Soccer Day Kick-Off Event, a free, family-friendly celebration kicking off a summer of soccer festivities in Richmond. Enjoy two live game viewings on a large outdoor LED screen, with festival-style seating available; guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to get comfortable.

    Take part in a full day of activities, including 3x3 soccer and foosball tournaments open for public registration and participation, sports trivia, BBQ, and live music from Gift Shop Band (a Tragically Hip tribute band). With full-day activations from the Oval and local community groups such as Fusion FC, Vancouver RISE, and Foosball Canada, there are plenty of ways to get involved both on and off the field.

  • Final Event: Richmond Celebrates Soccer

    The City of Richmond will host a signature cultural event featuring soccer‑themed programming with local soccer clubs, community activations, live performances, family-friendly activities, and public match viewing at Aberdeen Neighbourhood Park.
